Nora L. Garcia-Reyes

Nora began her career in education as a bilingual teacher in Dallas ISD. In her 9 years there, she took on various campus leadership roles, including Bilingual ESL Coordinator, LPAC chair and Testing Coordinator. Her bilingual education background, coupled with a strong literacy background opened opportunities for her in the Houston ISD to serve as a Campus Literacy Coach for 5 years and District Level Instructional Reading Language Arts Specialist for 4 years.  In 2011, Nora took on the challenge of helping Pearland ISD develop curriculum for their new Dual Language program. She coached and trained teachers in the pedagogy and methodology related to emergent bilinguals, and helped create new curriculum for the program. Then in 2017, she returned to Dallas ISD serving as a Dual Language Program specialist and later mange the creation of an ELL SPED Social Studies and Language Arts Dual Language Curriculum.

Nora has designed and presented professional learning sessions at the campus, district, regional and national levels. She founded BEE Partners in 2019, with the goal of providing authentic Spanish language materials, training and curriculum services to elevate the LatinX cultural experience in the U.S.A. and Latin America.

​

She holds a B.A. degree in Spanish, International Studies from Purdue University, and earned a Graduate Certificate in Spanish Language and Culture from Universidad de Granada, Granada, Spain in 2017. Nora is currently working on a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Bilingual Education.

Liliane DeMoraes
Project Manager and National Presenter
 

Liliane de Moraes is a Project Manager at B.E.E. Partners. She brings a wealth of first hand experience as a Multilingual teacher and learner, fully fluent in 3 languages, Portuguese, Spanish and English. She started her educational career at Dallas Independent School District and quickly rose to become a District Teacher of the Year finalist, master teacher (DTR) and AVID Campus Coordinator for her school and district.  As a result of her leadership skills and highly effective implementation of the AVID program, there was a marked decrease in students' learning gaps and improved achievement on Texas accountability measures. Due to her success as program coordinator, her campus was recognized as a National Model Elementary School and visited by teachers from all 50 states. 

 

Liliane's expertise has  been recognized and utilized in various roles, as an AVID National Conference presenter, as well as a teacher representative in "Dallas Speaks" advocating for teachers in the State Capitol in Austin, Texas. She has since become  certified as an AVID National Speaker and initiated and managed the project for her Campus to become a Choice School for Dallas ISD. 

 

Liliane has been engaged in Personalized Learning Practices and the systematic process of implementation and teacher support for over 5 years. She was subsequently invited to participate in the Dallas/UNT Innovative Leadership Masters to dive deeper into the world of educational leadership with an emphasis on innovative systems. Later she accepted the position of  Campus Personalized Learning Coordinator for her campus.  Despite the pandemic closure, they were able to become a district reference for virtual learning and hosted a State Virtual Modeling visit with about 110 participants including representatives from Texas Educational Agency. 

 

From her ranch, Liliane continues to fulfill her call to support and serve several school districts and present virtually via the B.E.E. PD Partners platform.
